Recently, I had the opportunity to take a deep dive on glazing settings with some of the developers at Enscape. The goal was to better understand, and then document, how to take real-world glass manufacturer data and apply that to a Revit material in such a way that it would be accurate, consistent and repeatable! The resultant blog post is now live on Enscape's website!
Learn how to properly set the Visual Light Transmittance (VLT), Visual Light Reflectance (VLR), and glass color!

In the post, I show how to create a Revit material using a manufacturer's data sheet; sneak peak via the image blow. You will also learn an important detail about how Enscape normalizes the visual light reflectance (VLR) value relative to Revit's sliders.
