We had a great time presenting to future architects at Prairie View A&M University last week!
Heather Holdridge (Director of Building Performance) and I (Director of Design Technology) presented our work at Lake|Flato.
I wanted to share the experience in today's post and highlight the program.
Heather and I spent 1.5 hours sharing our firm philosophy and touching on workflows and tools related to building performance. The image below is a sampling of our intro slides (click to enlarge).
Prior to the presentation, we had lunch with several students, including the AIAS student president, the NOMA chapter president, a student who worked for AIA National over the summer, and more! We had some great conversations!
After our presentation, we received a tour of the school of architecture. As you can see in the photos, they have a great place to learn!
The following exterior photo is from the school of architecture website... I did not get a good one.
Thanks so much to professor Dr. Ward for inviting us and coordinating everything.
I also left a copy of one of my Revit textbooks, Design Integration using Autodesk Revit 2023.
