Today's quick post highlights how you can add a pause to a video/animation within Enscape. The method involved stacking multiple keyframes in one location, similar to my previous post, Animate Time of Day from a Single Location in Enscape.
Once you have defined the video path, and then want to get back an add a pause, you will need to place a new camera/keyframe just adjacent to the desired keyframe (see previous image)... at this point it is not possible to add a keyframe directly on top of another one. Clicking on an existing keyframe, within Enscape, simply opens that keyframe.
FYI: exporting a video path is normally done to just save an animation path and reuse it later, or on another computer.
Also, it is helpful to set the duration of the overall video and the original desired keyframe where you want the pause.
Next you will export the video path from the Enscape tab on the Ribbon, within Revit. Then, use Notepad++ to open that file you just saved, which is an xml file. The result is what you see on the left, in the image below (click to enlarge).
In this example, notice the XYZ of the (camera) position is not the same for keyframes 1 and 2. I edited KF 2 to match KF 1, and edited/added timestamp info. Then I reloaded the path back into Enscape. The result, shown below, is that two keyframes are now stacked directly on top of each other.
Here is the resultant exported video with the pause...
