Lake|Flato - One Year Anniversary!

Time really does fly when you are having fun... it's hard to believe a year has already passed since I started here at Lake|Flato, as the Director of Design Technology. In today's post, I wanted to share a few accomplishments we have made during this time!

keep reading to learn more...
Although the timing turned out to be crazy, given I started during the pandemic, the transition was incredibly smooth. Thanks, in large part, to the amazing people that make up Lake|Flato... friendly, professional, and eager to both learn and share knowledge!

The graphic above indicates the three main areas I focus my efforts. Below, I share some of the accomplishments realized in these areas. And, while the lists might not appear to match the proportions of the graphic above, the percentages listed are pretty close to accurate. There are just a lot of little things that don't translate to the 'highlights' list and some (actually, many) things we are working on that we are not allowed to talk about; and some are huge and I cannot wait to share someday:)

Before I jump into the list, I want to acknowledge the amazing people I work closely with every day, that helped make these accomplishments a reality:
  • Heather Holdridge, Associate Partner, Director of Design Performance
  • Scott Lelieur, Director of Operations
  • Robert Trinidad, Associate Partner, IT Director
  • Mary Beth Lineberry, Director of Branding & Market Strategy
  • Steven Campbell, BIM Manager
  • Kate Sector, Design Performance Coordinator
  • Cynthia Suarez, Design Performance Intern
  • Byalsan Shalabi, Design Technology Intern (our newest member!)
