Last week, I had the opportunity to attend and present at the annual Texas Society of Architects (TxA) conference, hosted in Dallas, Texas.
It was another great TxA conference. In this post, I will share some of my experiences and highlight events and sessions:)
Selfie with keynote speaker Carol Ross Barney
The conference was hosted in Dallas this year, at the Hilton Anatole, which features amazing asian art. Next year, the conference will be in San Antonio (where I live!).
Keynote Speaker: Carol Ross Barney
One of the three keynote speakers was Carol Ross Barney. I worked on two projects with her at AOR firms. I had a chance to catch up with her at Ted Flato and David Lake's AIA Gold Medal reception last year at the national conference (she won the Gold Medal the year before, in 2023). The photo above is a selfie with her:)

Presentent's Party
The Presentent's Party is always a fun evening event. This year was 007 themed with gambling (using fake money:))
The 2025 TxA President is Jason E. Puchot (picture below on the right). He did a great job throughout the conference. I included two photos below because they turned out great and depict Jason's energy and fun personality:)
See you all next year in San Antonio, Texas!
