University of Minnesota Lecture to Lighting Design Minor Students
Last month, I had the opportunity to present on lighting design at the University of Minnesota. I enjoy presenting what Lake|Flato is doing in design performance to our future architects and interior designers.

UTSA Architecture 2023 Mini Ice Box Challenge
Yesterday I had the opportunity to watch three groups of graduate architecture students present and unveil the results of their Mini Ice Box Challenge at UTSA here in San Antonio, Texas.
The goal was to design and build a structure that would minimize the melting of ice stored within while set outside for several days.
The presentations were thoughtful, and the results suspenseful:)

NDSU - First Week of School - Fall 2023
The first week of another school year has begun at NDSU in Fargo, North Dakota, USA. Employing synchronous learning, I have taught remotely for 12 semesters now (from Minnesota and now Texas), where all the graduate architecture and landscape architecture students are on campus.

Lighting Design and Real-Time Rendering at the University of Minnesota - Fall 2020
Yesterday, from 1,200 miles (1,931 kilometers) away, I once again had the good fortune to present to Professor Abimbola O. Asojo's students at the University of Minnesota. I covered lighting analysis using the Autodesk Revit add-in ElumTools by Lighting Analysts, Inc. I also spent some time on real-time rendering using Enscape!
