Autodesk Customer Success Learning Hub

I recently discovered something new offered by Autodesk called: Autodesk Customer Success Learning Hub. A collection of interesting videos commissioned by Autodesk to promote the success of their customers using their tools.

One of the video series is by Michael Kilkelly, of ArchSmarter, and it is titled The Effective Architect Series. I watched Part 1, which consists of seven short videos, and found a lot of valuable tips... from using check lists to prioritizing your tasks.

Structural Precast Extension for Revit 2019 Update 1

Along with the recent Revit 2019.2 update, the Autodesk Structural Precast Extension for Revit 2019 was updated. I touched on that here: Revit Structural Enhancements in the 2019.2 Update.

I have been looking forward to writing this post for several months now. Often, when working on a project and doing exciting things in terms of design or use of technology, we cannot publicly talk about it. Now that this work effort is well known locally, I have the opportunity to share an interesting use of cutting-edge technology LHB's Landscape Architecture and Planning group evaluated on a large park restoration project.

Revit 2019 Beam Annotation Elevation Error

When modeling structural framing in Revit, use caution if you use the Z-Offset and Beam Annotation workflow together... as the noted elevation will not be correct! This is an issue Autodesk (now) knows about.
