Here is a quick rundown on the new features and enhancements that jumped out at me...
- The best new feature is the ability to zoom in Revit schedules!!! I created a Revit Idea about this a while back, which was then combined with another one. Only 267 votes made this a reality... but, perhaps there is another one as this one is not marked as "accepted".
- Tip: Keep your eye on the status bar for zoom and reset instructions.
- There are some improvements to the Civil 3D to Revit workflow, supporting placement of building pads on more complex surfaces. I think I found the first "complex" example that broke the 2019.1 feature:) I am right, Harlan?
- Revit and Revit LT users can now store, and work on, non-workshared models in the cloud via Cloud Models for Revit.
- Another enhancement has to do with moving elements a small distance without getting the error "too small on screen"..
- Revit 2019.2 materials will now automatically use the higher quality texture in the Autodesk material library. In case you didn't know, there are three folders (called 1, 2 and 3) which have the same image files (i.e. textures) but each at difference quality/resolution; C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\Textures.
