Autodesk's Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Campbell let the world know that all Autodesk University events will be digital this year due to the global pandemic. Unfortunate, but a very good idea!
AU is a great learning and networking event for anyone in the AEC space. Last year I had the privilege of attending two Autodesk university conferences, in Las Vegas and London. Here are the two recap posts I wrote about them:

Here is the message CMO Campdell shared via email this week:
To our valued AU community,
Each year I look forward to engaging with our customers and partners at Autodesk University events around the world. It’s a time when thousands of professionals from the construction, manufacturing, architecture, and engineering industries come together to learn, network, and share knowledge.
As we continue to monitor and respond to the challenges caused by COVID-19, we have decided to host all Autodesk University conferences as digital experiences this year. This includes our flagship Autodesk University conference in Las Vegas scheduled for November, as well as our international AU events in the UK, India, Japan, China, and Germany. We are also evaluating ways to digitize our preconference events, including the Leadership Forum, Connect & Construct Summit, and Forge DevCon.
With each AU, our community has grown, evolved, and improved. This year will be no exception. I’m excited by the prospect of creating our first digital AU event and building on the experience our AU website provides. The reimagined format presents a great opportunity for us to be innovative and stretch our capabilities to support and empower our customers in new ways—not just in the context of our AU conferences but throughout the year.
We’ll be sharing additional information about our Autodesk University digital events, including event dates and speaker and sponsorship opportunities, on the Autodesk University homepage over the coming months. We’ll also update the FAQ page as we have more details to share.
We look forward to engaging with you at Autodesk University in a different way this year, no matter where you are.
Stay tuned and stay healthy.
Lisa Campbell
