Wacom Tablet for Bluebeam Markups and more

In a work-from-home world, during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, we find ourselves looking for alternative ways to mark up documents in Bluebeam Revu within AEC. Staff are no longer able to print hard copies, mark them up by hand, and then scan those sheets back in to delegate tasks. The main obstacle being designers don't have large format plotters or even 11x17 printers at home, for the most part. And, really, that is probably a good thing as it is not the best use of resources.

Consider going digital for the entire process. If you have a tablet or stylus enabled screen it is easy to do markups in Bluebeam. If not, the Wacom tablet might be a good solution.

Once setup, you simply hover your stylus close to the tablet and you can see a marker indicating where the pen is on the screen. This can be used in Bluebeam, Photoshop and any of the office applications.

Here is a short video I created on how to use the Wacom tablet to do markups directly in Bluebeam.
