NVIDIA Quadro View

NVIDIA just released a new desktop management tool called Quadro View. Several months ago I was given the opportunity to beta test it. It is a great tool for people with several displays and who use many applications at once. It is even better for those who have ultra-wide monitors as you can carve out areas within that large display to essentially act as separate displays, where the app will snap into place.

Here is how NVIDIA describes this new feature:
Your workspace needs to be personalized to fit the way you work. Optimize your desktop layout with NVIDIA® Quadro View™, the latest software addition to the Quadro productivity platform. Quadro View delivers a suite of display management tools that makes it easy to organize multiple applications in your workspace.

Features include:
Flexible snapping of windows and applications to desktop regions
User profiles that deploy pre-set desktop and application configurations
 Advanced window management tools
Custom hotkeys to trigger common actions
Support for multiple desktops and displays
Download NVIDIA Quadro View today and take charge of your desktop.

This app is essentially the next gen of NVIDIA nView. One feature some may like is an option to prevent windows or dialog boxes from existing off-screen. This new tool will start showing up as an install option within driver updates, and also available for download separately. Of course, as the name implies this software only works on Quadro cards, and not GeForce cards.

If you use Dell hardware, you may be aware that they have their own tool called Dell Display Manager which also works quite well (but only applicable on Dell hardware).
