Revit 2022.1 was released this week. In addition to the usual big fixes, it has several nice enhancements. This is the topic of today's post... which includes a short video!
I will let you read through the official Autodesk posts for all the details (links below), and will only share a few highlights. Be sure to watch the video I created to see these features in action, and compared to previous versions.
Enhancement Highlights:
- Duplicate sheets with options
- Snap to midpoint between two selected points
- Select all instances for more element types
- Find selected element in project browser (via right-click menu)
- Category name search added to some dialog boxes
- Duplicate family parameter
- Import/export STL and OBJ files
- Improved support for SketchUp 2021 and Rhino 7 formats
- Align tool (see comments below)
The Align tool had its Options Bar options moved to the Ribbon... and a new Lock option added (see image below). Check this, while using the Align tool, will auto lock all things you align. This way, you don't have to go back and make another click to lock.
Warning: this selection sticks... meaning it will persist until you turn it off, similar to the Thin Lines toggle.
