Well, day1 of Envision21 was pretty amazing... this is Enscape's first-ever user group conference. Today's post will touch on the highlights of the first day, and some exciting announcements they made. Plus, some details on Day 2 (today) which you can still attend!
I heard they have over 6000 registrations for this event that has been in the works for a while now. I first wrote about this back in July; First-Ever Enscape User Conference.
Keynote
The keynote started out with Enscape's CEO, Christian Lang, announcing a future support for Mac and an integration with TestFit. The format of the intro was nice, with Enscape folks walking into their new office, down the hall, and into a breakroom (picture above).
The keynote was by Wolfram Putz from GRAFT Architects. He shared some amazing work they are doing with some good comments around climate action.
Sessions
The Day 1 sessions where great. A favorite was from our friends just down the street, here in San Antonio, by Overland Partners. They shared some fun projects and clever Enscape tricks... be sure to check it out if you missed it.
Between sessions, at one point, Enscape has British freestyle rapper, Chris Turner, on for some fun... again, the Overland group takes centerstage as the guests... Chris asks them several questions and then starts rapping. So awesome and funny!

Back to the sessions... my session was on VR and had a good turnout with a TON of questions. It was a lot of fun.
I was introduced by my friend Gemma Falconer Da Silva, from Enscape.

There will be an amazing class by my friend Pieter Schiettecatte on using Blender to create custom assets for Enscape. Also, at the same timeslot unfortunately, TestFit's fearless leader Clifton Harness, (originally from San Antonio) will be presenting on their Enscape integration!
