NVIDIA GTC '22 - Removing Barriers to VR in Architecture using Streaming VR

I will be presenting at NVIDIA GTC '22 next month, along with Petr Mitev VP, Visualization Product Unit at Enscape. Today's post highlights the session and current Lake|Flato project used as the case study.

I want to start out with the "fun photos" of NVIDIA CloudXR in action by the design team on the featured project!
Highlight: The photos show a full real-time rendered Enscape model in VR, where the Oculus Quest 2 is not connected to any computer in the building... it is only connected to WiFi (or 5G via a mobile device). This is the power of NVIDIA CloudXR.

Project Renderings

I also wanted to share a few amazing project renderings the team created during schematic design (SD)!

Video Example

Here is a very short video clip highlighting Enscape and NVIDIA CloudXR in action. I have another video I will share during the session. https://youtu.be/SCsPPfuVaSA

Conclusion

I hope you can make it to the session, and/or share this with others you think might be interested in learning more. This is a really exciting new technology that the AEC industry will benefit from, I am sure!
