Lighting Analysis   $120 ea

If you are interested in learning how to perform point-by-point illuminance calculations for electric and point-in-time daylight, this recorded webinar series is for you. Using Revit and the professional lighting analysis add-in ElumTools, it is possible to design for task appropriate lighting levels and, as a result, optimize energy usage.

There are three courses to choose from:
  • Basic ElumTools for Interiors
  • Basic ElumTools for Exteriors
  • Revit Luminaire Families - Best Practices for Lighting Calculations

Energy Optimization  $99

Energy modeling and building performance simulation are critical tools to help you understand the impact of design decisions on your building's performance. These tools are also essential to demonstrate your building meets specific energy guidelines.

Autodesk Insight is an online tool from Autodesk that calculates building energy use and performance. It is integrated into Revit and provides visualizations on key building performance metrics.

This course provides an in-depth look at Insight and how you can use it with Revit to better understand your building's performance.

At the end of this course, you'll be able to:
  • Create massing models in Revit for energy simulation.
  • Conduct building performance simulations on Revit models using Autodesk Insight.
  • Develop different scenarios using Insight to compare the impact of design options.
  • Experiment with different Revit elements and model settings to better understand their impact on building performance.
  • Analyze Insight results to determine the best design options to meet your project's performance goals.

MEP for Remodels and Alternates  $99

This course was designed to help you deliver better MEP renovation projects in Revit.  You will learn how to configure your renovation project for success. Covering a wide range of topics, from setting up views, to tagging existing elements, to working with linked models. I also share some great tips for using Design Options, setting up demolition plans, and dealing with electrical loads.

Here’s some of what you’ll learn during the course:
  • How to clean and prepare an existing architecture model
  • How to properly setup your MEP project
  • How to best link and bind existing Revit models
  • How to work with Phase Filters
  • How to work with Design Options in your model and other linked discipline models
  • How and when to tag existing elements
  • How phasing and MEP logical systems REALLY work
  • Plus a whole lot more!
Through concise video tutorials and a 60+ page step-by-step reference guide, you’ll finish the course having a much better understanding of how to effectively deliver MEP renovation projects. You’ll also learn a bunch of tips and workflows for working more efficiently in Revit. Even if you’re a Revit expert, you’re sure to learn something new.

Visualization  $99

Want to create better renderings in Revit in less time? This course will teach you everything you need to create amazing, photo-realistic rendering in Revit using Enscape

From how to organize your Revit model to creating better materials to optimizing your lighting, Dan Stine shows you how to get the most out of Enscape.

If you're getting started with Enscape or have been using it for a little while, this course will fast-track your skills. Using practical examples and a sample model, Dan will show you how you can transform your images from 'ho-hum' to 'hot damn'!

Thanks for your interest...
