If your company uses a multi-user network license system, you will need to know how to check out a license if taking a company laptop with you.
If you just need to look at Revit files, and not make edits considering using the free Revit viewer option so you don't tie up a license. For CAD files, use DWG TrueView.

Another option is to install an Autodesk Home Use license on your personal computer. Autodesk allows one Home Use license for each multi-user network license and this CAN be used for work tasks.
